Active Support for Work That Must Move Forward
Written Forward Advisory supports active organizational and community initiatives that require more than a single document or recommendation. These projects bring governance, planning, fundraising, policy development, and long-term stewardship together around a defined institutional need.

Lakeside Veterans Wall of Honor
Written Forward Advisory is providing in-kind advisory and project-development services to the Lakeside Veterans Wall of Honor through founder Katrina Pescador’s service on its Board of Directors. The engagement has grown from early planning support into an integrated body of work connecting governance, fundraising, digital access, educational programming, public communication, and long-term stewardship.
Work completed to date includes a phased fundraising strategy; review and improvement of governing documents and organizational guidelines; donor-recognition, eligibility, and plaque-reservation planning; and the redevelopment, migration, and launch of the organization’s public website. The digital work has included content structure and copy, forms, privacy language, user guidance, and planning for an online Veteran Honor Library where biographies, photographs, and oral histories can extend the public record represented by the memorial.
Educational and interpretive development includes separate Voices of Service interviewer guides for high school participants and college and adult volunteers, an oral-history training framework, presentation materials, and public-facing editorial content. Together, these resources are designed to help the organization move from a compelling idea to an accountable, sustainable community program.
Engagement: In-kind professional services provided through board leadership.
